DEPARTMENT L - DAIRY CATTLE
DAIRY CLUB RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. The Chelsea-Dexter Dairy Club shall be governed by a Board of Directors appointed by the
Chelsea Community Fair Board.
2. The Club will be open to all youth living in the Chelsea-Dexter school district and surrounding
areas*. The last year eligibility in the Dairy Club will be their senior year of high school.
3. Dairy animals may be displayed at the fair in any group or exhibit as long as it meets the
approval of the fair board.
4. If exhibitors have dairy animals in at least one other class, they may bring milk cows in for the
day of the show only.
5. Each member should enter the showmanship class unless you previously have won sweepstakes.
6. Age for showmanship classes is recognized as age as of August 31.
7. Dues will be established as needed.
* Chelsea-Dexter youth have first priority, remaining stalls will be assigned first come, first serve.
